There Corporation Ltd has started a pilot project with the Danish utility company Copenhagen Energy (Københavns Energi – KE.dk) and Danfoss, in order to productize a Home Energy Management Solution for houses using district heating as their primary heating source.
 
Parties will evaluate the potential energy savings in heating and electricity. Other value added services will be tested and evaluated in the pilot as well.
 
The consumer solution is a combination of smart heating management and metering services. Pilot installations include a ThereGate™ connected to Danfoss Living Connect Thermostats, indoor climate sensing and real time visualization of district heating, water and electricity consumption.
 
Other value added services include controlling of thermostats, real time visualization of metering data, alarms & messaging services, Wifi access point for customers and remote usage of services from anywhere.
 
Pilot is implemented in Copenhagen, in an area with old style houses, built about 100 years ago.
